Although it is not just posessed by wizards, we still do most of the imbedding around the lands. Imbedding is not the hardest thing you are ever going to do, so do not worry about it being that difficult. Here is a step by step rundown of imbedding.
1. Type prep 420, then cast my <object>.
2. At this point you have about 3 minutes to prepare for your instilling the object with your mana.
3. Type imbed <spell number code> in <object> using <method on which to activate imbedded object i.e. wave, rub> for <number> charges.
That is the basic syntax for the actual imbedding process. What you want to imbed in is another matter. Most jewelry sold at merchants is imbeddable, lick it to see if it will crumble when empty. If it tastes metallic then it will not and is most likely reimbeddable with grot, if bitter then it crumbles after it runs out of uses.
Some gems are imbeddable. Get a bard to sing to your gems and the can tell you whether a gem is imbeddable or not. If it is get a grot t'kel (smelly if on Teras, but if you are on Teras you should probably know how to do this anyways) potion from the alchemist. Pour it on the gem and on of the following messages will be displayed:
If successful, follow the procedure mentioned above.
